Character Strong HPS will use this year the "Character Strong" program in the K-8 classrooms.

Peace Circles Grades K-5 are practicing weekly PeaceKeeper Circles, which help promote communication, understanding, and resolution to conflict in the classroom and beyond.

PBIS Middle School students learn strategies like peer support and sharp communication as just some of the ways to create a culture of tolerance, respect, understanding, and excellence at HPS.

An approach used to support the development of self-regulation in children. All the different ways children feel and the states of alertness they experience are categorized into four colored zones. Children who are well regulated are able to be in the appropriate zone at the appropriate time. |
