Multimedia I and II Audio Video Production (Semester 1 and Semester 2)

Audio Video Production is an introduction and overview of the visual and audio media world. Students learn the fundamentals of video and audio production using professional equipment to create podcasts, make videos, and learn the basics of music recording. 

 

Coding and Robotics I (Semester 1)

Students will be engaged in learning and explore the basics of coding and robotics. Students will work with a variety of coding materials creating websites and video games and learning robotics devices.

 

Coding, Robotics and Drones II (Semester 2)

Students will be engaged in learning and explore the basics of coding and robotics. Students will work with a variety of coding materials creating websites and video games and learning robotics devices.

This course is designed to understand the science of flight. In this course, students will build, test, and fly drones. Emphasis is placed on safety, equipment selection, flying, and using drones to capture images. We will learn about Drone Science, their real-world applications and safety while engaging in piloting competitions.

 

NoCo Time Trials Middle School Car Competition (4th quarter)

A STEAM course that explores the scientific concepts of renewable energy technologies and technical careers.

Students will work in teams and engage in the Engineering Design Cycle to build a solar or battery powered car. On a Saturday in May student teams will be required to compete at the NoCo Time Trials in Ft Collins with the option of competing in the statewide race championships.
